Introduction

𝘔𝘺 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 by 𝘒𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘴 is an autobiographical poem. The poem was published in her first anthology of verse titled 𝘚𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘢( 1965). In this poem, the poetess deeply describes her longing for her ancestral home. This is the place where she received immense love and care from her dear grandmother. She is mourning the loss of the same in her adulthood.
